Last weekend I had the great pleasure of driving to Indiana to see Felis and Lis become Mr. & Mrs. Mubibya. Last summer I was still living in Tengeru at Pamoja Ministries where Lis has been a missionary for a couple of years. She met Felis through the Sowers Group, of which he is the drummer, and voila now they are married!
There were three of us four roommates from last summer plus two other friends from Pamoja. There were Americans, Canadians, Tanzanians, Congolese, Kenyans, and so on. Felis is Congolese himself. It was a beautiful wedding- Felis even taught some of us a Congolese dance!
