Quince Picking

This morning my mom and I went out early to pick quince at our secret spot. Did you know Wegmans sells quince in the exotic fruit area? Outrageous. They're local, though unusual, fruit. Quince are shaped similarly to apples but have have a denser texture and are rather sour. A fine fuzz covers the yellow-green flesh that smells...quincy.

In more travel-related news, I've been avoiding Walmart like the plague and have things on the floor to take but that's about it.
